EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) a type of synthetic rubber, is an elastomer characterized by a wide range of applications.
The properties of the EPDM depends on the composition of Ethylene, Propylene percentage in the grade and the cure rate depends on the percentage of the Diene content and as well as the Diene type.
Generally EPDM Rubber is manufactured by Zeiglar-Natta catalyst during the polymerisation stage and further new development takes place with Metallocene catalysts.
